Starting with In the Thick of It helps get you Sharp Vision, and I have made sure to add other great starting skills like Deduction and Contemplative. You are supposed to get Fingerprint Kit and Dr. Milan Christopher out early, but if you have bad deck luck, you will no matter have good investigates at the start with your skills. Once you get Ancestral Knowledge this will become easier.
