This is the deck used to complete Return to the Dunwich Legacy, paired with Luke, also published.
This deck is actually a Dunwich teched version of this: https://arkhamdb.com/decklist/view/14813/william-yorick-recurring-catastrophe-revised-guide-2.0 so i suggest to look there for a general view of this deck.
Notable techs included are kinda classic techs for Dunwich, so 2x Lantern to burn Whippoorwills, that can be dropped after the last scenario that includes them, 1x Dumb Luck as a panic button for Undimensioned and Unseen (also subbed right after that scenario).
Madame Labranche was Kidnapped! and sacrificed, so Jessica Hyde took her spot.
Notable changes i made from the previous version are:
-
no more Drawing Thin as it has been taboo'd in the meanwhile: we include 2x Emergency Cache now for resources (also Dr. Henry Armitage in Yorick means you never have economy troubles - just trash every asset you draw, get 3 resources, and play the asset with Yorick's when you are given the opportunity);
-
no Timeworn Brand as the missing economy from Drawing Thin means we have less to spend (also Dunwich gives little experience, i never upgraded my weapons);
-
Daring instead of Take Heart: again, no Drawing Thin means we are not going to fail much tests, so i preferred Daring's +3 and cycle over Take Heart: this means you can cut entirely Take the Initiative, as Daring is doing pretty much the same thing, but also lets you draw 1.
Yorick does not really care of failing threacheries as long as you have assets to soak for damage/horror, so i felt Take the Initiative wasn't needed in that, and i didn't regret my decision.
On the Hunt was there to reliably make use of Yorick's : I ended up never playing it tho, and removed it for Cornered, which felt okeish (i believe it has not be shining due to Madame Labranche being sacrificed in my playthrough).
