1st time playing as Zoey as well as 1st time designing a deck at all.

Plan to play 2 handed with another investigator who will handle most of the investigation. First time going in blind into Dunwich cycle.

Recommendations very welcome!

May 14, 2018 StartWithTheName · 68641 Looks pretty solid to me. Great work for a first try! The only thing you might not be aware of is that the pre upgrade First Aid can be quite slow to use. Im assuming its there for sanity recovery, but if so consider Smoking Pipe instead perhaps. or even 1x Liquid Courage since you have an out of faction card still to use. Both of these cards give you more horror healing per action you spend. for the pipe your 9 HP should be plenty to simply soak the hit. For liquid courage you have the willpower to reliably pass the test. The Pipe is technically not in the Dunwich big box, but if your doing the campaign you will very soon need the museum. Another route is just to grab more cash. Zoey has a strong natural economy base, but with cards like Physical Training, and the usual Guardian problem of strong but expensive assets, more money is rarely a bad idea. Lone Wolf is a common include in her (and again its in the right cycle). alternatively if you have access to carcossa, Alchemical Transmutation is pretty good in her since she has such a high HP base.
May 14, 2018 Euruzilys · 14 `@StartWithTheName` I just finished Undimensioned and Unseen scenario. Im slowly opening packs and getting player cards as I go. The exp I spent mostly on direct cards upgrade, 1x Charisma, and 1x Keen Eye. 6 scenario in and I only used the First Aid once so far in Undimensioned scenario to reduce her insanity. Mostly because on standard difficulty, Zoey can dispatch enemy pretty fast before they can attack at all. (There is an upgraded First Aid? Wow this looks nice). Im tempted to exchange it for some other healing cards. But Zoey’s companion this campaign, Ashcan, has no healing at all, except horror healing from Peter Sylvestre. So I feel the need to keep some health healing card even if I didnt use them that often. I have to agree, for horror healing Liquid Courage looks fantastic for the 4 duo. Maybe I will swap one First Aid out for Liquid Courage. Since. So far horror is a major concern for Zoey. With my playstyle I tend to have Zoey stick with Ashcan most of the time, Im not sure Lone Wolf would suit me? Maybe Im playing sub optimally. I just feel safer sticking together lol.
