Some considerations
- In the Thick of It could be used to start with Brand of Cthugha / Divination.
- Azure Flame and Clairvoyance could be picked at 0xp as the main spells and upgraded with Down the Rabbit Hole.
- Opted picking Sign Magick instead of Dragon Pole. It has discount with Uncage the Soul, it's fast and it's upgrade has nice potential with other charge spells, max effect of Divination and Brand of Cthugha without paying respective charges.

Jan 05, 2025Echoing RustKlevera, yeah, Sign Magick doesn’t interact with Bestow Resolve. Sign Magick asks for an action activation (chunky arrow), but Bestow Resolve is activated as a free action (squiggly lightning bolt). The upgraded Alchemical Transmutation might work better in this deck than the Robes of Endless Night. Alchemical Transmutation has synergy with charges and Sign Magick. |
Great idea! I love how you use bestow resolve with soothing melody an blood rite, but are you sure that bestow resolve works with sign magic? It says "after you use an activate ability (I don't know how to write the arrow symbols) to activate another active ability, while bestow resolve is a free triggered ability. In addition, sign magic let you use another spell avoiding only it's activation cost (using an action) but you still have to consume charges (see the card page comments and links for the ruling). Great idea anyway, i will surely try to use this combo.
