Norman Withers, Gatekeeper - Upgrade Path

The Norman Withers path for Steven on the Dunwich Legacy playthrough for Team Covenant.

Dedicated to Open Gate, which Norman can run better than anyone (Fast, 1-cost - free off top of deck, max value). It's likely not top tier, but it's super fitting.

Given Norman is the dedicated clue gatherer of the 2P team, there are a few necessary considerations. First is getting multiple clues, which is handled by Fingerprint Kit. Then it's about finding Fingerprint Kit with Mr. "Rook" (who also happens to work nicely as a clear for the top card of deck). Then, it's about keeping Fingerprint Kit online with Emergency Cache. In case the Kits get discarded, Quantum Flux can recover them (along with your Time Warp and Ward of Protection).

After that, it's about staying safe with Mists of R'lyeh and helping the team with Protective Incantation fueled by the extra credit from Dr. Milan Christopher and injections from Crack the Case. To maximize slots, one Sign Magick.

At the end of the run, I'm sure I'll want to make some changes and update the deck. It doesn't have as clear of a purpose as the others from the stream - but then again Norman's ability doesn't provide a lot of direction. Just good trades, stable economy, and occasional tricks. Kind of a cooperative mid-range deck if that makes sense.

I'm looking at replacing Tooth of Eztli with Jewel of Aureolus too, if I have the XP!
