Nice! The auto-successes and Key of Ys seem like a smart approach.

I wonder if it might help to splash Double or Nothing for even faster Brood takedowns., when combined with Stroke of Luck. (But obviously this isn't necessary, as you beat it without that!)

Looks strong, but you're in a bit of trouble if you can't find the key! Backpack could help here. I would also rate Devil's Luck as it fizzles a whole 4 damage.

Did you get much use out of Scrapper/Emergency Cache/Overpower? You can use the Esoteric Formula on the Thralls. I suppose you have your Stubborn Detective.

I've stuck my approach over here, along with some thoughts on the challenge.

Actually, without the Key, you can always Guts + Will to Survive, and then take one down. You can then Resourceful and do it again (eg, with Lucky or another Guts). Once 2 Broods are down, it is significantly easier to move around and stay safe while you wait for the Key.

(oh, wait, you would need 2x Guts to take one down without the Key, making taking the second one down much harder. Still, there are options...)
