The entire theme of this deck is imagining that Charlie Kane grew tired of merely financing expensive expeditions and decided to finally put his money were his mouth is. He has loaded up the finest low-powered, schooner-rigged steamship available with provisions, Sled Dog, books and eldritch items suggested by Bonnie Walsh. While he may still be Well-Dressed, he has packed Heavy Furs to go along with his Sharp Rhetoric.

Charlie has never been a competent fighter or particularly curious, but his equipment should allow him to defend himself in a pinch while relying on Whitton Greene's knowledge of rare books to seek out the clues needed for the success of this expedition. Whitton should especially be paired with one of Charlie's Tomes or Relics:

If Charlie is able to bring an entire team of Sled Dogs into the fight, he may actually be of use. Most likely, he will function as a co-investigator and supporter, using his Thermos to help his fellow travelers. He isn't as young as he used to be and needs to remember his limits, not to mention his nitroglycerin pills for his angina. The Burden of Leadership weighs heavily on his chest... but he may yet Live and Learn.
