First thing I want to say is I will be asking for suggestions at the end of the write up due to not owning all the cards; much less getting to see them in action to get an accurate read.

My goal was to see if I could create a successful dynamic character while spending the least amount of experience. Here's the line of reasoning:

I. The Dream Sefina has two good stats in Mind and Quickness and with one card, Mind's Eye, you shunt all skill tests through her Mind. In order to keep Mind's Eye active you need access to more Mind's Eye. Lucid Dreaming helps dig for more copies to discard for more secrets. Quantum Flux allows you to put the extra copies of Mind's Eye back into your deck so you can dig for them again.

II. The Big Brain Now that every skill check can be funneled through Mind let's gets some in-house cheapo buffs. Holy Rosary and Four of Cups are a combined 2 xp. To make the Cups more consistent I'm checking out Anna Kaslow but she could be on a short list due to costing 4 xp.

It is important to get propped up as soon as possible due to terrible Book and Fist stats. I was surprised Mystics draw engines weren't very good. So, I went with Arcane Initiate to search for Lucid Dreaming or Painted World and Sacrifice. In order to power Sacrifice I added in Ritual Candles as they were the only other 1 cost asset that made sense. In a pinch Sacrifice can get you some extra money but it should be used mostly for the card draw.

III. Packing Power to the Punch If you stop here Sefina can handle the treacheries every turn but isn't helping do any yet.

I looked for any cards that either did more than 1 damage or scored more than 1 clue. That led to a bunch of 2-3 cost events. If I want to play one a turn I needed more cash gas. Another Day accelerates your start of game and Easy Mark with Lucid should help dig deeper into your deck and pay for it.

IV, Reflections Is Ritual Candles good enough to make Sacrifice playable? If not, the bow seems perfect. Would the Dayana Esperence: Deals with "Devils" be better to triple down on your large collection of spells? I'm not sure on any of these so please point me towards a smoother build if you can!

I don’t see how you’re winning a scenario with just minds eye. Even if you get all 3 on turn 1 it’s empty quickly. Maybe add the bow, lockpicks or sixth sense?

Sure, good question. The 10 (plus the 3 Painted World) events that either get clues or fight don't use Mind's Eye. It will be used mostly for treachery. That being said, that's what i want help with. Both bow and lockpicks make sense to me.

I've made rather bad experience with limited charges and events... charges tend to run out. Events cost ressources you may not have or you end up with clue events when you need combat.

My last sefina deck used Ornate Bow and Sixth Sense to advance the act, Leo De Luca and Haste for 5 actions on most turns. Haste is pretty good there because Explore counts as "activate" (as well as all bow actions and sixth sense).

Alternative for the bow could be Switchblade 2, Timeworn Brand or another weapon to deal 2 damage with Mind's Eye. These leave your 2nd hand free for Lockpicks. How about Enraptured for more secrets on Mind's Eye? Though Read the Signs is the only reliable way to succeed, not very likely to draw both (or a dead card otherwise).

Thanks for the suggestions! I really like Bow in this build but it takes out the Ritual Candles. But, I found I could replace them with XP version of Arcane Studies (which may ultimately be better but a bigger drain on money). That also engenders the ability to continue to use Sacrifice. Mind's Eye takes up x2 Arcane making me leery of any more Anrcane slots.
