This deck is, I freely admit, pretty ludicrous. I don't think it would work very well in an actual game, but it's a helluva fun concept so I thought I'd share it. The idea behind this is to make use of the new Rogue cards, Delilah O'Rourke and Garrote Wire to create a deck in which it's possible to kill almost any enemy in the game for the expense of just a single action. It would probably just about work with Finn as well, but I think that Dark Horse Preston can do it best. It works because both Delilah and the Wire are free triggers, so you can tack on 3 extra damage (or more in fact) for the cost of no additional actions (albeit with one extra test), which grants huge levels of action efficiency.
In order for this to work Preston needs to get a few static boosts to both his fight and his agility so he's not starting from such a low level that when he does need to take a test it's likely to whiff. Delilah boosts both of these of course, but I've added Jessica Hyde, Track Shoes and of course Dark Horse itself, which Preston can afford to keep active all the time thanks to the resources he gets from his inheritance. With the full rig in play he has respectable stats of 4/4 in these categories as a starting point, which is pretty decent. It means he has a good shout at evading in a straight up test if need be, to trigger the double damage from Delilah, while his Garrote attacks will be at 6, so he'd be able to finish off most enemies if need be. For the remainder it's just a matter of utilising the box of tricks he has from his events and skills.
I may have missed something, but by my calculation you can finish off any enemy with health up to 9 without needing to spend a 2nd action:
1/2 - Self evident. 3-5 - Cheap Shot + Delilah or Fire Axe with Stunning Blow + Delilah + Garrote (or various other combos) 6 - Brute Force with SB + Delilah and Garrote 7-9 - You'd need some combo that involves Brute Force with Double or Nothing most likely, but it can be done (or it could be if Matt ever makes a non-elite enemy with 9 health, you never know...).
Momentum and Rise to the Occasion are there to give you nice little boosts when you need them. "Watch this!" is there to round out the resources for those occasions when the money you spend to power up your axe would prevent you paying Delilah. Hatchet Man is just in there as one extra trick to round out various combos when you need it.
Now I just need to figure out what the hell to do with all the actions I just saved....
