Oh man, is this deck conceptually awesome, but tragically impractical. If the title didn't clue you in, this is a combat oriented Sefina Rousseau deck, with a penchant for Astral Traveling to the location of an enemy and demolishing them with Spells or based attacks (like these). Everything else in the deck is either bankrolling this absurdly expensive deck (Forbidden Knowledge, Uncage the Soul, and Alchemical Transmutation), boosting stats and swaying odds in our favour (Ritual Candles, Holy Rosary, Trench Coat, and Narrow Escape), or offsetting the massive loss of sanity that will be taken from Forbidden Knowledge and Shrivelling (Liquid Courage and Fearless).
Pretty easily explained, but there's one massive weakness to this deck; Alchemical Transmutation, Astral Travel, and Storm of Spirits all risk a damage upon usage, and since the're expected to be used multiple times each, and Sefina has a measly 5 health, she more of a danger to herself that the encounter deck ever could be. Combined with the fact that she would be actively endangering herself by engaging and fighting enemies, and it's clear it just isn't going to work. Trench Coat and Joey "The Rat" Vigil alleviate this somewhat, but it should be clear how poor a selection of cards that heal/soak damage exist for Sefina when these are the best options.
So why do I publish this deck anyway? It's because I hold out hope that this deck has potential, but that I'm not seeing it. Maybe a difference investigator can make it work, maybe cards in The Circle Undone and beyond hold the answer, or maybe I just need to be told that it's a pipe-dream and that I should not waste anymore time on this unfeasible deck concept. Let me know what you think please.
I don't see this one ending up all that well. x3 Painted World and in the hopes of Storm of Spirits, Backstab and Sneak Attack is in your opening hand otherwise not usable more than twice. Some good odds at least 1 will make it but still. As for generating resources you could just grab emergency caches and paint those but less combat. Rogue cards doesn't really offer Sefina anything in terms of steady dmg output and neither does Mystic since she can only go up to Lv2 and not even upgrade Shrivelling. Deck also offers nothing in terms of flex for clues but maybe that wouldn't be your goal. I'd take Leo over Joey every day of week for any and all reasons.
