This is my stadard cluegatherer Daisy Deck.
With this deck you can get your base intellect to 7+ with good consistency (using Dr. Milan Christopher, St. Hubert's Key and Magnifying Glass). The good Old Book of Lore will help you and your team find what you need through scrying. Your main weakness, namely your frail 5 health, is covered by Deny Existence and Ward of Protection. You may use Ward of Protection to stop doom coming to the agenda via Ancient Evils, but remeber to always keep Deny Existence to deny damage! don't waste it in other things. Mind over Matter will help you pass agility tests or evade enemies in case of an emergency.
Pd: Remeber to bring some other investigator to deal with the enemies and that any action you expend not investigating, is more or less an action lost. :D
