Obviously chapter 2 doesn't require the most advanced deck building skills at this point, the cards are so few after all. However I'm very proud of this little deck. It knows what it's trying to do and what it's not, it's reliable, tailor made for the new core set's rather challenging campaign (or as FFG would put it, new player friendly starter campaign, designed to introduce you to arkham horror -enter sarcastic laughs-).
Without spoiling anything, I think you'll find the very dependable evasions and extra movement and other free actions very suitable for the core set campaign. But the deck is well rounded overall, with solid clue gathering and enemy management. Combines very well with a dedicated fighter in a 2 player game but where it really shines is as a flex deck in a 3-4 player campaign where it can really fit any hole, any scenario demand that's missing while your dedicated fighter and cluever are performing their specialties.
