With the new taboo finally making Blood of Thoth playable (since we don't need it to exhaust, which is a great improvement), our old friend Blood Pact may be back from the dead.

So, finally, maybe we can have some fun with Blood Pact (3), Blood of Thoth and Marie Lambeau

Idea of the deck is that you take advantage of Witching Hours and Take as many test as possible, putting doom on Blood Pacts, Alyssa and Dowsing Rod to stack as many offerings on Blood of Thoth as you can with your 4 actions.

You play scenario normally (adding and removing doom, slowly stacking Blood of Thot with Rod, Pacts and Alyssa and removing doom with Sin-Eater and Moonlight Ritual, gaining additional actions with Blood of Thot and Marie etc.) until you reach Witching Hour Round (Round just before Agenda about to advance).

With Rod, Pacts and Alyssa we can put up to 10 (=10 offerings on Blood of Thoth) doom on our cards (1 with Alyssa, 1 with Rod and 2 with each test with 2 Blood Pacts (3 normal actions and 1 additional with our ability)) during Witching Hour. Then you play Song and grant yourself a whole round of stacking doom again. This is a Dream Turn, but normally you can just play scenario, stack Blood of Thoth at you pace, use Sin-Eater and use Withing Hours to your advantage.

Rest of the deck is just utility, card draw and resources

- Tips and Variations -
  • Deck starts with ITTOI and charisma, but if you feel lucky you can start with 1 Blood Pact (3) or even bank xp. Sure, Alyssa is here to protect us from Baron, but we have burst draw, so chances of him appearing are very real.

  • Core upgrades is Blood Pact and Sin-Eater

  • Primary mulligan targets are Rod, Alyssa or Sixth Sense so we can start clueving right away.

  • Of course this deck needs to have meta knowledge about scenarios and campaign and encounter deck (hello ancient evils), but we can play scrying and ward of protection to prevent sudden Agenda advancing. But if scenario have like 1 or 2 Agendas you can just play the game normally.

  • Surely, this deck can be played (and to more success) with Dexter, since he can have like a ton of actions to spend and even more xp to wield. But i chose Marie because of Mystifying Song and that 2 crazy rounds of piling doom.

  • Maybe there is to little spell cards that can take advantage of Marie's ability, but we have lots of draw to find our deck pieces.

  • First scenario probably would be just regular scenario with almost no fun turns, but you theoretically can find 2 Blood Pacts and start abusing Witching Hours

  • Adapt 6 pips on servitor as you see fit (Armored Carapace, Claws that Catch, Jaws that Snatch, Dominance, Wings of Night) but probably you want to buy another charisma sooner or later.

  • You can basic Fight 3 time if needed (+ Fight with Servitor) = 8 doom and 4 offerings fo Blood)

  • You may find that 5 book may be not enough for Feed the Mind tests, so you can add St. Hubert Key or swap Cat mask for Mouse Mask , or add Perceptions instead of Guts.

  • This deck have little clue acceleration, so its mainly Book/Brain vs Shroud, but we can add Drawn to the Flame to adapt if we need to clear location without test.

This is just a concept, so there can be many versions of this deck.
