First upgrade should be Darkhorse (5)
This deck is very low cost. Actions don't need to be spent on resources or events that grant resources once the deck is online with a weapon in play. Fire axe and Hatchet are the real weapons in this deck. Fire axe combos with Darkhorse. Hatchet adds to Silas's already high agility and fight.
Mythos defense will be that Silas will be at 3 willpower with Darkhorse online. Then there is guts to add on that, unexpected courage, fearless, along with Grizzled with upgrades to be (Terror, Omen, Hazard) and modified to whatever campaign you are in. Hopefully you can get peter Sylvestre out for the horror soak.
Getting Darkhorse online can be by spending what you can on weapons, Peter Sylvestre, and Schoffner's catalogue to put resources on the side for items and still let Darkhorse get active.
