GenCon AHLCG 2023

This is intended as a versatile deck for play with others during the Arkham Horror LCG event at GenCon 2023.

Charlie uses rapid drops of allys to provide permanent stat buffs in combination with resource acceleration (Investments, 21 or Bust) to be able to afford these allys. The use of Calling in Favors can also drop an ally in in a pinch.

These Allys are intended to stick around for a bit rather than burn out (eg Guard Dog).

For Opening Draw, search firstly for allies that will give 2 permanent buffs - Peter, Lola, Delilah and try to get 2 of them down in the first turn or two. From there you can focus on resource acceleration to fill out your ally roster.

SIDE DECK:

The inclusion of the sideboard is intended to offer work arounds for 'essential' unique allies that others may bring in their decks.

The most likely swaps needed will be Peter Sylvestre(BMoC) and Leo De Luca as these are staples in many decks.

Losing BMoC is pretty damaging to this deck build, not only is he a source of continuous healing of sanity loss but he also provides vital willpower buff. Arcane Studies could be used, as could Whitton Greene (but this would require addition of tomes to the deck). Brother Xavier is the option I have gone with for this scenario however be mindful that this is a hard knock to the deck's cost curve.

Leo is less essential to the deck build and can be swapped with Art Student or Guard Dog depending on a focus on either Investigation or Offense.
