Dunwich Zoey Samaras

If all you have is the revised core, and Dunwich, this is a very easy to understand, very easy to play, pure Combat Guardian. It only really works when paired with a strong cluever.

Without spoiling anything specific: Zoey is great for Dunwich, but like with any pure fighter you will have some dead time in some scenarios when things get clue or evade heavy.

You can choose to change things to make her a bit more versatile by giving up guard dog and/or "if it bleeds", and pick up something cluey like investigation, or drop ward of protection and pick up a couple of elusive.

Ally based upgrades are very useful and obvious on her. Dunwich has many ally options, and beat cop is great, so early Charisma can be a treat on her. Upgraded beat cop is renowned for being great, and guard dog can get swapped in for Brother Xavier (or dropped entirely for other cards).

You weapon balance in the deck will also affect whether you want Prepared for the Worst or not.
