Core strat is empowering duke, and being able to easily ready him each turn with scavenging and item assets.
Dark horse, combined with Fire Axe and Scrapper allow for some addition stats, and a different method of attack should duke be killed.
Upgrade considerations would be:
Scrapper - becomes permanent
Peter Sylvestre is your sanity lifeline
Lucky and emergency cache good upgrade in general
Could get Aquinnah and a Charisma later on
