I had the idea to make a "Bar Room Brawl" Leo. To my surprise, I didn't find a single deck in ArkhamDB that was Leo using Boxing Gloves.
So I fixed that.
This deck is what I am calling version 1.0. Thus far, it has been quite the murderball! It draws a lot, makes a decent amount of resources, and can hit like a truck.
The biggest weakness is that it doesn't have great clue options, but are finding clues really what you care about during a bar fight? I built this to pair with a deck specializing in finding clues, so I don't see it as a problem.
"Why build a Boxing Glove deck with Leo instead of Nathaniel?"
Theme. I thought it would be fun?
It does hurt not having the damage bonus, but Leo's rogue access gives him money and card draw. Additionally, Leo's free play of an ally means I don't have to slow down the roll.
"Why use only 24 XP? Don't you know you should go to 29?
Yes, obviously. However, ArkhamDB doesn't have beta Guard Dog level two designed by the 2020 Council-in-Exile. With those two upgrades, the deck sits at 28 XP.
