"This is nothing. Nothin! I've covered wars, dirty wars, where crazy runs the show, waving guns up in my face. That place between bad and worse, that's where I belong. In the eye of the shitstorm, the misery and the carnage, and time all slow right down and I can call it how it truly is. That's where I do my best work, that's where I'm king of the story, man."

Rex has been to Hell and back--quite literally! He's the king of the story, sneaking into danger zones and capturing the worst of humanity on film. He knows he's on the brink of death, which is why he comes prepared: with a Derringer and some scrappy ways to scavenge the ammo back into it. Most of the time he just hunts for the best shot, but if he comes up against a cultist or whipporwhill or criminal, he'll happily "pop a cap in their ass."

This is a pretty typical Rex deck, but designed to have the capability of taking care of itself if it runs into something nasty. It CANNOT deal with big boss enemies, and should not attempt to do as such, that's what the one Elusive is for. Everything is about finding clues except for your combat set: Derringer, I've Got a Plan, and Physical Training/Overpower. Draw lots of cards and get clues, man.
